Our Yurts

Tara Yurts offer two main types of yurt; a steam bent ash framed yurt, based on Kyrgystani design and a contemporary UK coppiced willow yurt

The main difference is that the coppiced yurt doesn't have steam bent roof ribs and so in that respect it is more akin to the Mongolian design
